Action Item: Are your phone calls the State’s business?

From James Wilson

ACTION ITEM

I just sent a letter telling Congress to ban bulk collection of our personal data and communications using DownsizeDC.org's Obey the Constitution campaign.

Please do the same. You may borrow from or copy these comments:

House Speaker John Boehner wants a bill that pretends to end bulk collection of our online data, but would actually FORCE private companies to keep it available at the NSA’s request. (http://bit.ly/OXVFMF)

In other words, Boehner STILL wants gross violations of my Fourth Amendment right (and human right) to privacy.

I DO NOT CONSENT!

Enact the USA FREEDOM Act (HR 3361 and S. 1599) instead. It would…

* rein in the dragnet collection of data by the NSA  and other agencies…

* increase transparency, and...

* create an independent constitutional advocate to argue cases before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

The "leadership" of both parties hates this bill. But your oath is NOT to them, it's to the Constitution.

REPRESENT ME!

OBEY YOUR OATH!

STOP THE NSA CRIMES!
