Judge orders Brandon Raub released over civil liberties violations.

A Hopewell circuit court judge has ordered that a Marine veteran detained over anti-government Facebook posts be released from a psychiatric hospital.

CBS 6 News’ Catie Beck said the judge dismissed the case Thursday against Brandon Raub. The judge said the original petition for Raub’s detention contained no facts. In other words, there was no information on why Raub was being held — and the judge deemed this violated his civil liberties. 

As a result, the judge ruled law enforcement has no grounds to hold Raub. (Read the rest at WTVR.com)

Latest Update~ I just spoke with Brandon and he has arrived at the Salem VA Medical facility. He will now be in the process of the "intake procedures/process". I was told they will do an initial evaluation to determine where he will be placed inside the facility.

At this point in time he cannot receive any phone calls.

Once he is settled into a specific area and can receive phone calls and visitors we will share that information.

  Look, Brandon was not about to start WWIII with his sharpened axe!  People like us make over the top comments to be creative of for theatrical effect and I believe the same applies to Brandon.  He was surrounded by loving friends who were not aware of any plans for a Rambo rampage by Brandon.  The truth is, many of us suspect the government of planning many evil things against the American people because their own documents prove it.

  Let's gather with signs and peacefully protest the unlawful arrest and detainment of Brandon Raub who was kidnapped by the state without warrant and without charges.  This is what happened in Nazi Germany and the USSR! Furthermore, I think Brandon will be a little wiser in his choice of words after this.

  One thing to consider; Mr. Raub is aware of what's really occurring with regards to the new world order and encroaching tyranny, therefore, the federal government intends to pressure courageous patriots like him from speaking out.  I say SPEAK EVEN LOUDER!!!

  Let's go to John Randolph Hospital tomorrow and show the world we will not be intimidated by police state goons working to bring forth US communism draped in the American flag.  Bring your signs and let's make some noise.  Tell the world how the FBI creates terrorism and the CIA funds it.

Latest Update: Brandon Raub, detained for 30 more days with NO charges

Good Evening!

Thank you~ EACH of you for your ardent, faithful support.

Here is an update on Brandon.

He has not been released and will remain in the same hospital for further "Psychiatric evaluation". The Judge ruled that based on the evaluation by the Doctor that he needs further psychiatric testing to determine his stability. We do not know how long, nor do know what this process will look like at this point.

The Rutherford Institute is working hand in hand with us and obtaining legal counsel for Brandon from this area. We have been instructed to be very careful with what we share and to do so selectively.
